Bruce's licensed cafe is now open in Wynyard, North-West Tasmania

Who is Bruce?

Well Bruce isn’t a person, he is an idea.  That’s not entirely true, we stole the name from the late Bruce Walker who built the original building back in the early 1960’s.  And since he isn’t here to tell us not to, we have taken the liberty of stealing Bruce’s name.   

Bruce's was opened in September 2009 after a period of extensive renovations. Bruce's is at the front of Leisure Ville Holiday Centre Wynyard, priding itself on the fabulous views of Bass Strait. We are a family friendly alternative, breastfeeding friendly and all around nice people.

Bruce's is proud to boast that Stephen Bock, formerly of the Groovy Penguin, has been on board since we opened and has helped us get an excellent reputation for our coffee. Open 8.30am-4pm Tuesday - Friday, 9am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.
